Sadie obtained her BA in English and French Language and Literature in 2021 from Universitat Autònoma in Barcelona, Spain. While working as an independent English to Spanish/Catalan translator, she started her MA in Applied Linguistics at Concordia University, where she is currently working on her thesis under the supervision of Professor Pavel Trofimovich. Her current research interests are language and identity in multicultural settings and affective language processing in bi/multilinguals. In her spare time, she enjoys writing, drawing, knitting, watching (mostly) old movies and practicing aerial sports.
